Sunshine grows in her garden…
It’s in the valley that I grow
Another awesome post from Michelle Marie
Art by MichelleMarie

I met him in the valley
I met the shadow of death
I really didn’t care much
for me was nothing left
I’d all but lost my mind
I really didn’t care
I met him in the valley
He seemed to keep me there
The face it seemed familiar
But sometimes it would change
It really did not matter
I know this might sound strange
I did not realize how deep I had gone
Till I realized there was no light
He removed his mask in comfort
It was then I felt the fright
I danced with the darkness
he gave me a new name
my name is HAD

this tree and me
This poem will rock your soul…

this tree
has seen me through
the seasons of my life
the fall
when I fell and stayed down
when I cried out
because my words fell away
the winter
when all of me was dead
invisible and I wanted
to stay that way
Then came Spring

This Tree
Has life all around her
as I sat beneath her canopy
Poured out my heart to her
She gave me hope
Then one day I saw this
Yellow flower just for me
In my spot
Where I sit and mend
This tree holds all my secret
This tree is standing tall
Like me in
Wholeness
Something about that
Humbles me
Thank you God
For
this tree
I See Pink…

Colorful posters led the way to the Butterfly Exhibit…
For The Birds
Yesterday, I went to the zoo, for the first time in twenty years. I mainly went for the Butterfly Exhibit, but since there were very few butterflies, my husband Jerry and I walked around the trails and enjoyed the other attractions. My first stop was the gift store where I asked Jerry to buy me a butterfly headband that lights up and yup, he did and yup, I wore it.
Took hundreds of pictures, of course! This was my favorite bird, of course cause it’s PINK. Didn’t even read the poster to find out what kind of bird, I was too overwhelmed by the PINK!
