In the last 30 years as hair dyes have become available to the nonprofessionals, we’ve learned to color or bleach our own hair. In the first stages it seems so innocent. We can go to the drugstore or Wal-mart and select just about any color we like! It started simply enough for me. I was fourteen with drab, brown hair and I wanted to jazz up my hair a little. So, I bought a package of Flaming Red dye. When I un-capped the bottle and got my first whiff of peroxide, I was hooked.

I love this sweet photo of you. I have to say I colored my hair a little darker and I’m not happy with it so literally I’m at the beauty salon fixing my mistake or rather paying for it to be fixed lol 💕💖

I have always had the colour I wad born with… except when very small it was platinum blonde, it has darkened with the years, but doesn’t seem to want to go grey. I just wish it was tidy … but it rarely is.

I can so relate. When I was younger, I worked for Clairol and volunteered to get my hair colored in every shade of red they had. I loved it. Now, I’m back to my dark hair…but I’m gonna get a few highlights in a few months. Always changing. 🙂
