So Small

My six-foot son hugged me and as he let go of me, he looked down and he said, “Mom, you’re so small. You used to be so much bigger.”
I told him that I was the same height. “You have grown. IΒ haven’t shrunk.”
He said, “No, not that, I don’t mean your height. It’s just that IΒ used to be so much smaller, so you seemed so much bigger.”

    1. Thank you…I love what he said too. It feels so good to be posting again. I have been writing a lot more and I’ve been trying to get here more. The winters here are not for me but luckily, I know how to move! I need sunshine and more months of flowers. XOXOX
