Sitting in the dark of Mountainburg…
waiting on life’s spark to ignite…
moon hidden amongst clouds…
in trees bare of their leaves.
I write one last winterous scene…
dry counties surround me…
three shades to the wind…
no rum, no whiskey, death of my frisky…
washed out this girlie, angel dusted pixy…
awww sweet Jesus…
gave her prayers final answer…
no rum my daughter, no whiskey.

OH my goodness this is wonderful. I could visualize this because I know where this is. She’s so clever, I love the last two lines the best. “awww sweet Jesus…
gave her prayers final answer…
no rum my daughter, no whiskey.”
ME TOO sister me too!
Looks like she has your talent for sure. Encourage her to write more! She’s got a wonderful way of expression! HUGS to you sweet friend! YAY it’s Friday!!!!

I know. I love seeing my children write, it means so much because it feels like they are embracing who I am, a writer.

Yes yes and what a lovely writer you are. Tonight Alex took a photo for me and sent it to me on my phone. I think she’s catching the shutter bug. OH yes. I was going to email you about something real quick. Inbox when you get a chance!
