I see myself
sleeping walking.
I watch from a distance
me, walking away.
I see my body.
I see my hair.
I see my feet.
Wandering aimlessly
toward the water.
I shout to myself
come back, wake up
before you wander too far,
before you slip away and
disappear into the waves.
I keep walking forward.
I don’t even look back.
I have never listened to myself.
Wonderful poem.. Many are asleep these days while walking in a daze… May we all of us keep walking forward in our awakened awareness… Now is the time to listen to ourselves as we walk the path of mindfulness…
Loved reading…. and the image you shared.. 🙂

I enjoy relaxing meditations so I’ll check it out. I don’t sleepwalk though,. My poem was about sleepwalking through life while awake. Ty for your thoughtfulness.😍💝

I sleep talk and possibly seeing a sleeping clinc may help if it’s an issue?

Thank you for reading and reaching out. The poem was about sleep walking through life while awake. I do sleep talk, but my husband always slept right through it, thankfully.
Thank you for reading me! JM
